Hey there ancestral liberator!

You’re finally rolling up your sleeves! But coming to this decision to take action did not come easy as I know you’ve experienced some challenges along the way.

You come from a family where boundaries barely exist and you’re trying to navigate and establish sustainable relationships in your own terms.

You’re worried about how you are impacting future generations and the only way you know how to move forward is to do your own healing from past harm.

You’ve been through the ringer and some real, heavy sh*t. You’re constantly hold the weight of your work performance, familial stress, and societal expectations. Not to mention you’re exhausted of how the various -isms (racism, capitalism, colonialism, ableism, sexism, etc.) get caught up in your life.

Let me tell you something real quick…

What if I told you we can co-create a space where we map out the systemic impact and curate what generational healing looks like for you?

After working with dozens of therapy clients, I am here to tell you that you it is possible to live your life with conviction and navigate through systems that were not built for us.

Without knowing who you are and what you stand for affects your impact in this world. It impacts the way you take action, build relationships, and heck sometimes your functioning from day-to-day.

But I always didn’t know this.

I thought I had to play the system to live the life I wanted.

Being the eldest daughter of immigrants, I’ve learned first-hand what it means to survive. I’ve witnessed my parents navigate through multiple systems (i.e. capitalism, racism, sexism) to pursue what they thought was the “American Dream.” They worked hard, often sacrificing their wellbeing to make sure my sibling and I were well taken care of.

And so I emulated my life to be the same - gain a great education, be a great employee at the companies I worked at, and climbed the corporate ladder. With this mentality came constant code-switching, hiding parts of myself that were not honored, and eventually discovering how I lived my life did not align with my values.

It took me years of therapy to come to the realization that the way my parents lived their life did not work for me, and that these systems were not built for someone like me.

And because my personal strength and passion is to analyze these systems from a bird’s eye view, I am passionate to enable healing for clients in the same way.

The Therapy Framework:

A diagram showing the progression into therapy, starting with self, then relationships, life experiences, and current environment or societal impact, with an arrow indicating movement from individual healing to collective action.

Understanding the Framework:

Current Environment/Social Impact: Considering any environmental or societal factors that impact the concepts of your life experiences, relationships, and yourself. Examples include, but not limited to: capitalism, racism, sexism, colonialism, ableism, ageism, etc.

Life Experiences: Significant life experiences that shifted the trajectory of your life and how it impacts the concepts of your relationships and yourself.

Relationships: Understanding the connections you developed over the years and how it impacts your self concept.

Self: Understanding your accountability and what is in your control.

Here’s What You’ll Get in Therapy:

Empowerment

Together we’ll strengthen your sense of agency, self-trust, and confidence. You’ll learn tools to navigate life’s challenges with resilience and clarity, reclaiming your power to make choices that align with your values and goals.

Awareness

You’ll deepen your understanding of your patterns, emotions, and past experiences so you can move forward with greater intention. Through reflection and guided insight, we’ll uncover what’s been holding you back and create space for authentic growth.

Advocacy

You’ll learn to honor your needs, set boundaries with confidence, and speak from a place of self-assurance. This is your space to rediscover your voice, practice self-advocacy, and build relationships that feel grounded, mutual, and aligned.

With all the different options working with a therapist, why you?

Listen, I get it. Looking for the right therapist is important, especially knowing that you feel safe with this person to share your most vulnerable moments.

This space is not about avoiding difficult conversations or bypassing feelings. In fact, I welcome it as I am naturally a very direct person that often navigates the depth of my clients experiences. Though I honor your boundaries and capacities for certain topics in your life, I am committed to hold space for truth and growth, even when it feels uncomfortable. We can even sit in silence if you need.

This isn’t the type of therapy where you can solve your problems quickly or have a short-term, structured action plans after each session (and honestly, sometimes coaching is a better fit than therapy). In this space, healing is about recognizing and owning your experiences while embracing all the emotions that come with it. There isn’t any set timeline to it and I constantly make sure to meet you where you are at. Whether you are sitting with me doing talk therapy or in silence with brainspotting, this space transforms when you are ready to change and do the work.

Hi, I’m Ruth.

A twin toddler mom, a devoted attendee of acupuncture, a nature hike seeker, and a spy seeking to reimagine the mental health system— here to be your catalyst for change.

You’re exactly where you need to be.

It’s no accident that you were brought here. You listened to a calling and got a sense that there is a purpose greater than yourself. You are ready to do the work, initiate your healing, and create an impact in other people’s lives.

  • Individual Therapy: $190 per session (50 minutes)

If longer sessions are needed, it will be pro-rated at your rate.

For insurances, I can offer a receipt known as a “Superbill,” which you can submit to your insurance company for your out-of-network benefits. Please check with your health insurance plan to see if you are eligible for reimbursement. Depending on your plan, usually PPO plans, you may qualify for up to 60% - 80% for reimbursement.
